Canine Country Club & Wellness Center

Where Every Dog Is Treated Like Family.

Our Story

Canine Country Club and Wellness Center was built on one idea: your dog deserves more than a kennel.

Located at 5075 McKinney Avenue in the heart of Highland Park, Canine Country Club and Wellness Center sits alongside our sister practice, Highland Park Animal Hospital—meaning veterinary care is always right next door. Whatever comes up during your pet’s stay, a medical team is standing by.

We offer two distinct overnight boarding experiences—the Ranch Retreat and the Urban Oasis—plus day boarding and spa services. Every stay is designed around your dog’s comfort, personality, and energy level.

Our Facility

Canine Country Club and Wellness Center operates across two unique environments:

Ranch Retreat

Our private ranch in Ennis, Texas, combines climate-controlled accommodations with acres of open space for dogs to explore and play. Every stay accommodates your choice of social or private play, plus complimentary shuttle service from our Highland Park location. Perfect for dogs who love fresh air, adventure, and room to roam.

Urban Oasis

Located at 5075 McKinney Avenue, our Highland Park location features climate-controlled accommodations and a vibrant courtyard in the heart of the city. Every stay accommodates your choice of social or private play, creating a comfortable, enriching experience for every dog—just minutes from home.

What Our Clients Say

My 2 wonderful Havanese literally pull me into the door of the Canine Country club to get groomed- that’s 2 animals who show no fears or anxiety about going and being loved on by all there while they are groomed. The groomers do a great job and make my 2 handsome boys look even better. I love that my boys enjoy their “day of beauty!

I have had a great experience boarding my dog with Canine Country Club. The value received is well worth the price. I always feel that he is well taken care of and that the staff loves what they do. After his first stay, I hadn’t seen any photos of my dog in the Facebook roundup and mentioned it when I dropped my dog off again and they took special care to ensure the staff snapped some photos so I could see my dog was enjoying himself.

I have a very, very high energy one year old lab and I wouldn't go anywhere else besides Canine Country Club! I have boarded her there a couple of times and always have a great experience. The staff is extremely nice and courteous and when I was upset about leaving my dog for the first time, they really calmed my nerves and made me feel at ease.

Savannah, in particular, deserves special recognition for her exceptional care and attention. She went above and beyond to ensure Maggie's comfort and happiness during her stay. I was very nervous to drop her off for her first time at boarding, and then the Ranch Retreat but from the very beginning, Savannah was patient.
